5/23/2023 0 Comments Barangay by william henry scottI long for a book which does a survey of narratives of pre-Hispanic Philippine history from various sources Filipinos were mentioned in the accounts of the Thai, Burmese, Borneans, Chinese, etc. This made me feel that this book was just like any other book on pre-colonial Philippines: ethnographic accounts masquerading as a prelude to Magellan's landing in 1521. To make matters worse, everything was from the perspective of the Spaniards! Lo and behold when I read this book, it was not a narrative history at all it was but an ethnography of 16th century Philippines. I though that this book will narrate pre-colonial Philippine history in detail, and that it would supply the wanting native identity all of us long for. It was my interest in native Philippine heritage which roused my curiosity in this book. This book is the crown jewel of pre-colonial Philippine studies almost every work written on this subject uses this book as a source. Unfortunately, I was not that satisfied-but still it was a worthy read-so I am only giving it four stars. 5/23/2023 0 Comments Concrete rose bookThose are pricier than EVs like the little Bolt hatchback, which General Motors discontinued in favor of pickups. They’re more resource-intensive, too. The demand side – that is, consumer preferences – plays an important role, too. There are full-size EV pickups that can power homes, and some drivers do need big vehicles. For 2022, the firms involved in the mining and manufacturing for those accounted for 27% of Tesla’s total emissions, reports Quartz. But the supply side isn’t the only thing to consider as we think about EVs and making the future work. And such “Scope 3” emissions – including those of suppliers – represented the deepest part of the product line’s carbon footprint.Batteries are a big factor. But this time, in Tesla’s report, it was part of the tally. What should we make of a recent report from carmaker Tesla reminding us that, even though its cars have no tailpipes, there are significant carbon emissions associated with getting them built and on the road? It’s worth thinking about, though there’s a lot more at play when it comes to electric vehicles and CO2 emissions. The vast network needed to supply raw materials and component parts for EVs makes for difficult accounting. 5/23/2023 0 Comments Fifty shades of grey audio bookIt was pleasant to see the soft side of “Fifty”.Īs the bulk of individuals proclaim, this collection is extremely sex- relevant. It raises Christian’s dark past with his youth years, his mommy, his ex-spouses to where you start to totally understand the character of Christian. The story strays from the BDSM ranges, as well as likewise Christian as well as likewise Ana’s link embellishments. The tale develops rapidly, nonetheless in an excellent way. I was fatigued initially, yet rapidly recognized that it is not as whole lots of individuals clarify.ĥ0 Tones Darker, in my viewpoint, is fairly potentially developed, in spite of a pair of odd terms, some repeating of words, as well as likewise a small typos I located throughout overview. Being that I could not leave it at that, I purchased the 2nd (and also third) book to this collection. After seeing the flick, without assessing the extremely initial magazine, I truly felt that i was turned over a high cliff- wall mount. 5/22/2023 0 Comments Jen deluca well matchedBut when her time on the road is over, will Lulu go with her gut, or are she and Dex destined for separate paths?
